Istanbul modern Art Museum has participated in the Google Art project which includes 180 important art institutions from more than 40 countries.
Google Art Project, launched in the 1st of February 2011, is an online platform through which the public can access high-resolution images of artworks housed in the initiative’s partner museums.
Visitors to the Google art project have the chance to see more than 35 thousand works of art on the internet, including thirty works by 24 artists from the Istanbul Modern Collection, which are now being exhibited on the Google Art project. Visitors can inspect paintings, installations, photographs and sculptures by artists such as Ergin Inan, Balkan Naci Islimyeli, Bedri Baykan, Ipek Duben and Mustafa Horasan whose works feature in the museum’s collection.
